Seeking Best Practice Universal Truths
William Roetzheim

Concepts

Mr. Roetzheim steps back from the technology world to ask what lessons technology best practices can learn from fields as diverse as poetry, stage plays, film, sports, and running a Victorian bed and breakfast.  Are there universal truths that apply across these domains?  Are these truths somehow core to success in effective implementation of corporate best practices in technical domains?  The talk is sure to be interesting, with “war stories” from such a diverse range of domains, but will it come together with a cohesion that provides practical help to the technology best practices practitioner?  Let’s just call it a grand experiment and see what emerges.
